Kim Jong-Un Golf Headcover
Kim Jong-Un's father was noted for shooting a 38-under par round complete with 11 hole-in-ones after a humorous propaganda story reported by the KCNA went viral. (If you aren't familiar, the KCNA is North Korea's version of "The Onion," except that they are entirely serious.) It was this story that DearDictators.com co-founder Nadia Khuzina used as inspiration for her next creative project when walking through a retail sporting goods store's golf headcover section.
Seeing the many anthropomorphic golf club headcovers all tracing their origins to the same overseas factory, Khuzina was not impressed and said smugly, "I can do it better. The DearDictators.com project itself is an offshoot of her conventional canvas artwork. When asked about why she decided to make the headcovers, she said, "My generation has iPads and ArtStudio. I want to consume art. There is no idea more horrific to me than looking at the musоra (Russian for garbage, and also a slang word for police) of Rothko, Malevich, or Repin. I need a decent looking headcover for my golf clubs. I need a good looking case for my iPhone. I think other people do too. Fine art can be nice, but it is way down the list of what people need when it comes to expressing themselves in everyday life."
This fashionable headcover definitely allows one to do just that. Older generations may have enlisted in Arnie's Army, but we hope you will join our propaganda campaign instead. With the DearDictators.com line of headcovers, bombing the fairways has never come closer to being literal!
